Privacy Policy

Which personal data StockMarket Dashboard processes, why, how long we keep it and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible

StockMarket Dashboard is operated by:

Send privacy questions and requests to this address.

2. Visiting the website and the dashboard

When you open stockmarket-dashboard.com or the dashboard at app.stockmarket-dashboard.com, your browser sends technical request data to our hosting provider Cloudflare: your IP address, the time, the address requested, and information about your browser and device. Cloudflare uses these data to deliver pages and market data and to protect the service against attacks, and keeps short-lived technical logs. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and working service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You can use the dashboard without an account. As a visitor, your settings stay in your browser’s local storage.

We use no advertising, no analytics service and no tracking cookies, on this website or in the dashboard.

3. Fonts

The dashboard loads its fonts and icons from Google Fonts, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Your browser sends its IP address to Google when it loads them. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a consistent, legible appearance (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This website loads no fonts from third parties.

4. Account and sign-in

To keep your own dashboards and watchlists, you sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft. Firebase Authentication, a service of Google, then processes your account identifier, your email address, the name and profile picture the provider supplies, and the sign-in methods you linked. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email, we receive a relay address instead of your email address. The legal basis is providing the account you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Your dashboard data

For a signed-in account, we store your dashboards and their panels, your watchlists, your notes and tags on symbols, saved AI answers and AI chats, your settings and the API keys you enter for AI providers in Google Cloud Firestore, linked to your account, so that they are the same on every device. Each browser you use keeps a copy in its local storage, so the dashboard opens quickly and keeps working while the connection drops. The legal basis is providing the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

6. Market data

To show prices and company data, your browser asks our servers for the symbols on your screen. Our servers obtain these data from third-party market-data providers and send them only the symbols, never your personal data.

7. AI features

AI chats and AI Prompt panels are optional and use your own API key for the provider you choose: Perplexity, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or OpenRouter. When you ask a question, your question, the information the chat or panel includes, such as a symbol and its data, and your key go through our servers to that provider. The provider processes them under its own terms and privacy policy. The legal basis is providing the feature you use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your keys are stored with your account, apart from your dashboards.

8. Plans and payments

Pro is sold by our reseller Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), the merchant of record. Paddle processes the billing, payment, tax and fraud-prevention data of a purchase under its own privacy policy. We never receive your card details.

For each account we keep a plan record: the plan, its purchases, the Paddle customer and subscription references, refunds and chargebacks, and the start and end of the account’s one 7-day trial. The legal bases are fulfilling your purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in granting the trial only once and preventing purchase abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9. Error analysis reports

When the dashboard tells you about a problem, its dialog may offer Send for error analysis. Only if you tick it do we receive a report: the text at stake, the place in the dashboard where the problem occurred, the build and the platform. A report names no account and is deleted after 90 days. The legal basis is your consent for that report (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); leave the box unticked to send nothing.

10. Links to other websites

Open In and other links lead to third-party websites, such as TradingView or Finviz. Their own privacy policies apply once you open them.

11. Service providers and transfers

We use service providers for hosting and delivery (Cloudflare), sign-in and data storage (Google Firebase) and payments (Paddle). They process data on our behalf or, in Paddle’s case, as merchant of record. Some of them process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

12. How long we keep data and deleting your account

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete it under Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. The deletion takes place 30 days after your request; signing in again within those 30 days cancels it. Then we delete your dashboards, watchlists, notes, AI answers and chats, AI provider keys and settings.

We keep after a deletion:

  • your sign-in identity with its linked sign-in methods;
  • the plan record with its purchases, the Paddle references and the trial’s start and end, so that you find past purchases if you sign in again and an account gets its trial only once.

Deleting your account does not cancel a running Pro subscription. Cancel it in Paddle’s customer portal, linked from every receipt. The browser where you request the deletion clears its copy at once; other browsers sign out and keep their copy until you clear their data.

13. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You can withdraw a consent at any time, with effect for the future. Contact us at the address above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Wiesbaden.

14. Changes

We update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its date are always on this page.
